Amels delivers seventh Limited Edition 60 MEMORIES
The seventh Amels Limited Edition 60, MEMORIES, has departed Damen Yachting's construction facility in Vlissingen following final delivery to her new owner, and she will no embark on a busy charter season.
As with all Amels 60s, MEMORIES features an exterior design by Espen Oeino International and naval architecture by Damen Yachting. She features the signature geometric windows and also boasts many of the enhancements gained throughout recent deliveries. Furthermore, MEMORIES is the first Amels 60 that features a custom interior design by Harrison Eidsgaard, making this superyacht the first Amels new-build with a Harrison Eidsgaard Interior.
The name MEMORIES was determined during a private yacht naming ceremony, attended by the Owner's team and crew. Rory Moran of Moran Yacht & Ship delineates: “The construction of a yacht is a remarkable journey of craftsmanship and innovation. The delivery of this vessel to its Owner marks the culmination of dedicated teamwork, meticulous attention to detail, and a shared passion for excellence. MEMORIES' new Owner was introduced by Moran Yacht & Ship just 6 months prior to her delivery - something that the Amels Limited Editions concept is built in mind for. Despite the late entry into the build process, the Owner has still been able to make a number of customisations including changes to the Beach Club, Owner’s areas and Sun Deck. The Bridge Deck Aft has also been adapted from a lounge area with a TV and games table into an on-deck cinema setup. Even with these changes, the Owner has now taken delivery of this 60-meter Amels, ready for charter, within just 6 months.
Joppe Osté, project manager for Amels 60 MEMORIES comments: “When the Owner stepped in, we were already at an advanced stage of construction. Resultingly, the new Owner was able to make decisions quickly and take possession of the yacht before summer. Until the buyer steps in, we design the yacht for all potential clients. The sales, design, and proposal teams are all involved. That is a major advantage. The custom interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard appealed to her new Owner, which allowed us to stay on schedule and move forward according to plan.”
With regard to her custom interiors, the design by Harrison Eidsgaard boasts a contemporary and welcoming style that provides a refined take on beach house luxury, where natural materials and a clever use of detailing ensure a warm and tactile finish. Remarkably, a standout feature of the interior is the spiral staircase with the inset handrail including illumination. Furthermore, her smart and capacious layout can accommodate up to 12 guests across 6 capacious staterooms, with 6 additional cabins available for crew member accommodation to further simplify yacht handling. Moreover, MEMORIES boasts ample modern equipment and luxurious amenities that safeguard an unimaginable luxury yacht experience on board.

Upon her delivery, a busy charter schedule now lies ahead for MEMORIES. Whilst it is expected that her Owner will also make private use of the Amels superyacht, charter is very much a focus and she is expected to share the success that other Amels 60s for charter have achieved.
