Charles E. Nicholson

Known internationally for his revolutionairy designs, Charles Nicholson had a significant influence on the development of yachting, having designed all the British-built J-class yachts, four America's Cup challengers, and such  outstanding schooners as Margherita and Creole.

Charles E. Nicholson is the original Nicholson of Camper and Nicholson. He lived from 1868 until 1954.
