Built of Jachtbouw De Alm Vryburg 65 has started

Jachtbouw De Alm is building Vryburg again

Jachtbouw De Alm has received a beautiful new assignment. In 2011, the shipyard delivered the 17.5-meter Vryburg I PB58. Now, 13 years later, Jachtbouw De Alm has started rebuilding this model in an extended version, the 19.4-meter PB65 VRYBURG IV

With a length of 19.40 meters and a beam of 5.55 meters, VRYBURG IV is a robust, fully round bilged, seaworthy yacht designed for defying ample weather conditions. Immediately noticeable are her wide gangways and the high positioning of the bollards and railing that enhance the feeling of comfort and safety on board.

The staircase on the aft deck can be found inside the wheelhouse unlike expected, given that the ship is equipped with a flybridge. Consequently, her steering position can quickly be altered. Furthermore, on the aft deck, an L-shaped sofa is located against the salon. At sea, you are comfortably sheltered under the upper deck, while if you want sun, you can sit on the sofa on the foredeck or the flybridge.

The door on the aft deck provides access to the spacious salon, where the large windows allow plenty of natural light. Although the transition from the salon to the wheelhouse is smooth, you immediately imagine yourself in a different space. This is partly due to the sturdy and striking sliding doors to the wide gangways, but especially due to the centrally located steering position. The spacious dashboard with large screens give the feeling of standing on the bridge of a large yacht. From the fixed helmsman's seat, there is good visibility all around, including to the rear, and with a tank capacity of 9.000 liters of fuel, long journeys can easily be made.

More specifically, this Vryburg 65 is built in steel after an exterior design by Pieter Beeldsnijder Design and naval architecture by Vripack Yacht Design. Her equipment on board will facilitate a cruising speed of 8 knots and a top speed of 9 knots. Besides this, her brand-new and welcoming interior, after a design by Jachtbouw De Alm, can accommodate up to 6 guests across 3 capacious staterooms, making her a suitable family world cruiser. Lastly, VRYBURG IV is scheduled for delivery to her new owners in 2025, and will encompass plentiful up-to-date equipment and luxurious amenities that safeguard the ultimate luxury yacht experience on board no matter her destination.
