Ukraine approves auction of Feadship ROYAL ROMANCE

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) of Ukraine has announced that the 92.5 meter Feadship superyacht ROYAL ROMANCE will be sold, with bidding open for representatives to assist the sale.

Following a meeting held on March 20, 2024, ARMA decided to proceed with the sale, spurred by recent modifications to protocols. It was decided that the sale of the yacht would begin, due to the active position taken by the Head of ARMA Olena Duma.

ROYAL ROMANCE was put up for auction in 2022 and got inspected in November 2022. This took place within the framework of criminal proceedings, following several meetings with the representatives of the port, local law enforcement agencies and the Ministry of Justice of Croatia.

On January 2024, the District Court of Split (Croatia) inspected ROYAL ROMANCE and tested the buyancy and engine operation. The technical inspection was monitored by the Port Captain, with the participation of the Croatian police to ensure legality.

Interested parties are invited to submit their bidding documents by April 18, 2024, with the winning bidder set to be announced on April 23, 2024. This auction not only symbolizes Ukraine's dedication to asset recovery and management but also serves as a testament to its ongoing efforts to combat corruption and uphold the rule of law.
