Heesen 47 meter motor yacht ODYSSEA, listed for sale by Denison Yachting, was sold after 75 days with Denison Yachting representing the seller and Fraser introducing the buyer.
Built in steel by Heesen shipyard in 2012 after a design by Omega Architects and naval architecture by Heesen, she is the seventh in the award-winning 47 meter full-displacement class. Christened on Saturday April 28th, 2012 in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Heesen and almost seven hundred guests, originally named as Lady Petra is the second vessel built by Heesen for its founder.
Two M.T.U. 1555 Hp diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 12 knots with a maximum speed of 42 knots, giving her a cruising range of 3400 nautical miles.
Her luxurious interior has been designed by Bannenberg and Rowell and features a great variety of precious materials cleverly combined to create a sophisticated yet comfortable décor. She can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 cabins, consisting of a spacious main deck owners cabin, a VIP cabin, two double guest cabins and two twin guest cabins with Pullman berths. For the crew, there are 10 berths in 5 cabins.
