This 22.60m Dutch built Akerboom is a motorsailer entirely manufactured in steel in 1974, with high quality construction, excellent performances and marine characteristics and large indoor & outdoor spaces. The designer was Dick Boon, who also designed M/Y like Rahil, Aumichakiad, Dardanella e Maverick, among others.
She was designed to accommodate, a large family with all comforts. Her layout includes a spacious stern Master suite (convertible to accommodate up to 4 beds), a cabin for 4 people and a double cabin, all equipped with ensuite bathroom with electric WC and separate shower. The crew area is furnished with: separate access, separate saloon, large separate kitchen with MIELE appliances, 3/4 berths, large separate bathroom with shower, large locker, cabinet with washing machine and washer-drier.
The interior finishing stands out because of the elegant teak furniture, with white lacquered paneling, LED lighting, steel and leather finishing. The exterior is also very comfortable and elegant, with a large second command station that is also well protected by a steel & teak windscreen equipped with two rear view mirrors to check on the stern. Every detail is carefully well crafted, from the large dining table to the stern sundeck area, everything is well integrated within her elegant design. Below deck we access the saloon, sumptuously furnished with a large leather sofa, 2 dining tables, hide-away TV with Home Theater, Sky satellite antenna and Wi-Fi. The command station is equipped with the same instruments on deck, plus an additional radar screen.
The large transom is teak-clad and equipped with a hydraulic swim ladder, underwater lights and hydraulic gangway. She is also equipped with 2 generators, stabilizing fins, water maker, air conditioning, TV in all cabins, dishwasher, dryer, 2 fridges + 2 freezers, camera in the engine room, outdoor & indoor intercom system
