Short description of the yacht
Built in Steel by Feadship in 1957 after an exterior design by Feadship and naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. Inspired by the Dutch ‘Tjalk’ barges, she is the only vessel of her kind to have been built by the award winning yard.
She benefits from her traditional Dutch design in combination with a gaff-rigged motor sailor configuration, which allows her to have lots of stability and volume for a yacht her size. Because of her comfortable and stable sailing, she has crossed the Atlantic an impressive six times, earning her the status of a proven seaworthy sailing yacht.
Her twin 350Hp Perkins diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 7 knots, giving her a cruising range when under power of 1000 nautical miles. In combination with her shallow draft, she is an excellent coastal cruiser.
Her alluring exterior is greatly complimented by her modern and up-to-date interior which provides accommodation for 6 guests across 3 cabins, consisting of a full beam master suite aft and two twin cabins for guests forward. She also has room for 3 additional crew members.
Tha yacht has seen major refits in 2002 and 2017, keeping her eye-catching exterior while providing all modern comforts to the owner and guests.
