Short description of the yacht
This luxurious Jongert 25DS is the ultimate classic sailing yacht. De Vries Lentsch and Peter Sijm designed this steel ketch with a high level of finishing details throughout the interior and exterior.
Her sail plan makes her easy and safe to sail with all sail handlings that can be done from the aft deck when under sail. Her solid stainless-steel sea railing and various handrails are practically placed around the yacht. Unique handcrafted elements are implemented throughout the entire yacht, from the wooden figurehead at the front, all the way to the characteristic fitted windows at the rear.
Her deck layout is suited for both a serious sailor and a relaxed cruiser, with enough space for you to walk on comfortably, sunbathe and relax at the several well-protected nice sitting areas behind the wheelhouse. The dingy can be placed on the foredeck during crossing and can easily be launched.
Her interior is very spacious and voluminous, and with her layout still very up to date. The wheelhouse offers a very nice settee and observation seat with great visibility. The lower salon offers a large dining table and a bar with a fridge. The owner’s cabin and two guest cabins are very spacious, all with en-suite bathrooms. The galley is located in the fore ship, together with the crew mess and two spacious crew cabins, both with en-suite bathrooms. Easy access to the water is created through a solid manual lowerable side boarding ladder. Her engine room is very spacious and designed to get easy access for proper maintenance.
This yacht has a proven global track record. She literally sailed around the world, ran through various refits and is in pristine condition. Her latest refit in 2023 and all her updates made sure that this Jongert is ready to repeat her history without any obstacles.
