Jongert is a renowned yacht builder based in Wieringerwerf, the Netherlands, specializing in semi-custom and custom sailing and motoryachts constructed mainly from steel or aluminum.
The Jongert family began their journey in 1953, crafting small motorboats, but quickly recognized the growing demand for technologically advanced vessels. In 1960, they launched their first luxury motoryacht, followed by two classes of sailing yachts, the Zwalkers and the Trewes, in collaboration with marine engineering firm Van der Meer and yacht architect Willem de Vries Lentsch. These yachts marked a breakthrough for Jongert, establishing them as a pioneering yard with a global reputation.
Collaborating with Herbert Dahm in 1969, Jongert adopted its renowned slogan, 'The impossible we can do today. Miracles may take a little while longer,' reflecting the yard's commitment to offering ever-increasing comfort, privacy, luxury, and cutting-edge technologies.
Over the years, Jongert continued to innovate with its own design team and in partnership with leading architects and designers like Doug Peterson, Tony Castro, and André Hoek. The Jongert brand became synonymous with top-quality superyachts.
Today, Jongert is privately owned by an experienced yachtsman who leads multinational maritime companies, ensuring a focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability at all times.
