Feadship ROYAL ROMANCE no longer to be auctioned by Troostwijk Auctions

Feadship 92.5-meter motor yacht ROYAL ROMANCE will no longer be auctioned by Troostwijk Auctions. This is according to various online news sources.

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) of Ukraine announced on the 23rd of April that Troostwijk Auctions was chosen as the winner to auction the ROYAL ROMANCE. The company had a deadline of 5 business days to present a proposal for finalizing the agreement draft, as preannounced by the National Agency. Nonetheless, as reported by De Telegraaf, they failed to reach an agreement.

"We have been in intensive contact with ARMA recently. However, we have not been able to start negotiations within the set period to agree on this auction," a spokesperson for Troostwijk Auctions told De Telegraaf.

It is currently unknown who will take over as the central agent for the auction of ROYAL ROMANCE.

The Feadship motor yacht is built-in steel by De Vries in 2015 after a custom exterior design and naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. Her interior by Seymour Diamond can accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 cabins, and 22 crew members.

Twin 3004Hp MTU diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 12 knots with a maximum speed of 15 knots.

One of the eyecatchers of ROYAL ROMANCE is a 12-meter long swimming pool, which is 4-meter wide en nearly 1.50-meter deep. 

ROYAL ROMANCE is currently located at the berth of the Adria Docks shipyard in the city of Trogir, Republic of Croatia. According to ARMA, the proceeds from her sale will be used to support Ukraine's defense capability.
