Built in steel by Kuipers Woudsend in 2000 after a design and naval architecture by Dick Boon of Vripack. Her most recent refit was in 2016. The yacht was the last yacht built by the senior Mr. Kuipers prior to his retirement.
This outstanding explorer yacht has cruised all around the world on her twin 300Hp Caterpillar 3406C diesel engines. The voyages ranged from Venezuela to Newfoundland on the east coast, two Panama Canal transits, and from the Galapagos to Alaska in the Pacific, as well as Florida, the Atlantic Ocean, West Med, Greek Islands, and Turkey. With a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 12 knots, she has a cruising range of 4000-8000 nautical miles.
