Short description of the yacht
NOMAD is a luxurious 23.85m family yacht, with an unusually large pilothouse that offers great comfort and visibility under all weather conditions. She was the third Ophira built by the Dutch Van Dam Nordia Shipyard for the same owners. All experiences of this circumnavigating family were used in this unique spacious yacht with a very practical lay out. This resulted in a safe yacht that offers sportive, comfort and easy sail handling due to her solid construction.
Sail handling, rig tension, and furling systems have been designed and manufactured by Hall Spars, Lewmar, and Reckmann - fully controllable by push-button from the steering pedestals. In front of the pedestals is a spacious deck space with dining tables on each side.
The fully air-conditioned, practical interior is entirely custom-designed by Robin ten Hoope, in mahogany and finished with luxurious fabrics and stylish details. The interior incorporates a master stateroom, two guest suites, and a captain's/guest cabin.
Her hydraulic operated swim platform at her stern allows easy access to the water for a swim or to step into her solid tender.
