Amels Limited Edition 80 PROJECT 8003 ready for outfitting
Following the recent launch of the latest Amels 80 at Damen Yachting's hull building facility in Galati, Romania, this 80-meter Amels Limited Edition, PROJECT 8003, has now arrived in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, ready for outfitting.
The arrival of this Amels 80 marks the start of the next stage in the construction process and reflects the proceeding success of this Amels 80-meter design. The outfitting will take place at Damen Yachting's second yacht building facility in Vlissingen. The Vlissingen East shipyard, located just 3 nautical miles from the Vlissingen City yard, is home to a number of Damen Yachting's newbuild and refit projects and forms an integral part of the extensive yacht building facilities and operations.
PROJECT 8003 is built in steel, after an exterior design by Espen Oeino International, and naval architecture by Damen Yachting. Her equipment on board will facilitate a top speed of 16.6 knots, and safeguard simple handling and easy maneuvering under abundant weather conditions. Furthermore, her brand-new and capacious interior will feature a total of 17 cabins, as well as ample luxurious amenities that will secure the ultimate luxury yacht experience on board.
Amels 80 PROJECT 8003 is the third Amels now in the outfitting stage and is scheduled for delivery in 2026. Further details surrounding the project remain confidential.
