Significant motion at the Vitters Shipyard in Zwartsluis
Superyachts are coming and going this summer at Vitters Shipyard in Zwartsluis.
Today, after exactly one year of aluminium construction work, a 44-meter long sailing yacht was turned and her completion phase can start. In the summer of 2024 this yacht will be delivered to her owner. She was designed after an exterior design and naval architecture by Reichel/Pugh Yacht Design. Moreover, this Fast Cruising Sloop will have a modern and capacious interior, after a design by Design Unlimited, which will facilitate extensive travels in optimal comfort, luxury, and style.
To make room for the round off of PROJECT 3093, Vitters had to move a 66-meter long sailing yacht to a different hall, for the last phase of her prominent refit.
All transport activities of these yachts are outsourced by Vitters Shipyard to Hebo, also located in Zwartsluis.
To enable efficient proceedings of the construction of PROJECT 3093, Vitters builds her hull upside down, and at the end of the hull phase it will be wired in the right position.
Later this summer another 59-meter classic sailing yacht will be launched, and a 69-meter long hull is planned to be brought to the shipyard in Zwartsluis for rounding off the construction.
