The February Dutch yacht sales report

NEW FOR SALE | February 2025

In February 2025, the Dutch yacht sales market saw the introduction of 12 new yachts for sale, 7 motor yachts and 5 sailing yachts. 

The largest and one of the highest priced Dutch-built yacht amongst the new listings is the 60m motor yacht ALFA G built by Oceanco and asking $49.000.000.

On the other end of the spectrum, the 18.6m Altena Yachting motor yacht CASA SEGUNDA was the shortest and least expensive new listing with an asking price of €595.000.

The largest sailing yacht listed for sale this month is the 56.18m APSARA built by Royal Huisman and asking €52.000.000.

From the 11 Dutch-built yachts that came to the market in February, yachts had a lengthbetween 18 and 24 meters, 2 yachts between 24 and 30 meters, 2 yachts between 30 and 40 meters, yachts between 40 and 50 meters, yachts between 50 and 60 meters, andyacht of 60 meters.

When we compare this month to last month’s numbers, we see that the amount of new listings stayed the same. Compared to February last year, there was a significant increase of 57,1% in yachts entering the market.

SOLD | February 2025

In February 2025, a total of 5 Dutch-built yachts were sold, all motor yachts. Compared to January the amount of sales stayed the same.

The largest yacht sold this month was the 80m Oceanco BATELLO. She was sold after being on the market for 578 days, or 1.5 years, with a last asking price of €79.950.000, which was still 93% of her first asking price.

The shortest and least expensive yachts sold in February was the 18.4m motor yacht CHRISMARPA built by Super van Craft. She was sold after just 127 days on the market after entering the market in October 2024 with an asking price of €545.000. During her time for sale, she had received no price reductions.

The yacht that was offered for sale the longest in February was the 22.09m Kuipers Shipyard motor yacht NAGEIRA. She first entered the market in February 2023 with an initial asking price of €1.285.000. She was sold after 742days, a little more than 2 years, on the market. During her time for sale she received price change and her final asking price was 3,7%higher than her first asking price. 

On average, the yachts sold in February were on the market for 433 days and still had a value of 96,1% of their first asking price. Compared to February 2024, we can see a decrease of 16,7% in yachts being sold.

PRICE CHANGES | February 2025

Last month 21 Dutch-built yacht listings received a price change, 19 motor yachts and 2 sailing yachts. Compared to January we see a decrease of 22,2% in price changes. Looking back at last year, there was a decrease of 16% in price changes in February 2025.

The highest priced and largest yachts that received a price change this month was the 89m Amels HERE COMES THE SUN. The motor yacht is currently asking €185.000.000, after receiving a €14.000.000, 7%, price reduction this month. This is her first price change since she entered the market in July 2024.

The largest price reduction this month has been for the 19.05m Van der Valk Shipyard motor yacht LUCY PENGUIN. She is on the market since September 2022, starting with an asking price of $4.050.000. She has received a total of price reductions of in total 50,6% since then. 

The largest sailing yacht receiving a price reduction this month was the 22.07m ARQUIMEDES, built by Jongert Yachts. The sailing yacht is currently asking €550.000, after receiving a €20.000 price reduction earlier this month. ARQUIMEDES has been listed for sale 1114 days, since February 2022. Her current asking price is 71,4% of her initial asking price of €770.000.

On average, the yachts had a price change of -7,3% this month and received their first price reduction after 294 days on the market. The 43m motor yacht GO, built by Feadship in 2010, has received a total of 3 price changes since she entered the market in January 2024. Earlier this month she changed CA and received a price increase of €2.400.000 (15,5%). 

CURRENTLY FOR SALE | March 2025

On the first of March, the Dutch-built yacht market boasts 343 vessels for sale, of which 252 motor yachts and 91 sailing yachts.

Out of 1213 Dutch-built motor yachts over 18m in our database, 20,7% are currently offered for sale, and out of 418 sailing yachts, 21,8% are currently available for purchase.

Currently the largest sailing yachts available for purchase is the 58.15m Royal Huisman NGONI. Her asking price is €38.500.000 and she has been listed for sale since January 2025.

One of the largest motor yachts available on the market is the 90m Oceanco DREAMBOAT. This vessel has been listed for sale for 50 days with an asking price of €195.000.000.

At the other end of the spectrum, one of the smallest available yachts is the 18.8m motor yacht TRIBU, built by Steeler Yachts. TRIBU is currently being offered for sale with an asking price of $3.100.500, and has been listed for sale since March 2024.

This month in numbers

Compared to the previous month, we can see a slight decrease in the amount of price changes. The number of sales and yachts entering the market however stayed the same compared to last month. Compared to 2024, the overall market has seen an increase in yachts entering the market, but a slight decrease in sales and price changes.
